Finally, DeCan's Baby's Got Her Blue Jeans On, aka Ms. Blue came into season! We have been waiting for this one. Blue is out of the first breeding of our foundation male DeCan's Back in Black (ACE) to our foundation female DeCan's Notorious Nyx (NX).
DeCan's Baby's Got Her Blue Jeans On is a drop dead, gorgeous example of a Big Sky Labrador Retriever. She is a show stopper. Her pedigree is off the chart! Blue's dam, DeCan's Notorious Nyx is sired by NFC FC AFC Hunter Runs Booboo and her sire, DeCan's Back In Black, is sired by NFC AFC FC Maxx's Surprise. Two highly decorated National Retriever Champions.
DeCan's No More Mr. Nice Guy, aka Mr. Cooper is another of our foundation males. Cooper is a strong, hard driving, powerful Labrador Retriever with a pedigree as long as your arm. Cooper's sire is NAFC FC AFC Texas Troubador, aka Tubb. Tubb's dam is NFC FC AFC Candlewood's Something Special Royal, Hall of Fame 2014.
The pedigrees of Mr. Cooper and Ms. Blue should be a strong indication of the quality of these pups.
We got a good peak at how this combination would look when we bred Mr. Cooper to Ms. Blue's full sister DeCan's Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club, aka Ms. Pepper, earlier this year. As we thought, the Cooper/Pepper litter was outstanding. We are getting hunting pictures of these Cooper/Pepper pups flushing pheasants and retrieving to hand at 5 months old.
